Window Exhibition 16 Apr - 3 May 2025TERRORPLEGIA, ‘GG’ George Giann
This exhibition explores life interrupted by Terrorplegia, newly acquired Tetraplegia. Central to the work is the theme of broken, ‘kaput’. GG wanted to create assistive aids, in this case, re-purposed model machine guns for broken/disabled warmongers and quadriplegic terrorists. In this work, GG aims to translate personal experience of disability and trauma into a universal commentary on the futility of repair and a desire to reconstruct meaning from chaos.

‘GG’ - George Giann lives and works in Naarm/Melbourne, Victoria. A visual artist who specialises in mixed-media installations that explore the interactions between language/text and image/object. GG’s work highlights the importance of randomness, curiosity, and play as a means of understanding life with his newly acquired Tetraplegia, life’s Terrorplegia. GG co-founded multiple ARI’s and was a Gertrude Studio Artist in Residence.

Open Thursday and Friday 2-5pm, and Weekends 12-5pm. All other times by appointment.
